HEATHER LEE BIRDSONGSTORIES FROM THE STONE HOUSE 18 Jan - 17 Mar 2021 Printmaker and painter Heather Lee Birdsong often references fairy tales because, as she has written, "...the stories are sensational, violent and transgressive, but typically told with a matter-of-fact simplicity that forces the reader to fill in the blanks." Stories from the Stone House, an online exhibition of work from 2009–2014, includes five print editions and a handmade folio from which the exhibition takes its title. The folio prints are displayed alongside related and previously unpublished stories by the artist.
